CONNECT?
Connect? is an 8 week course that gathers in a small group to look at what it means to belong to a community of faith that is built on the celebration of the Eucharist (that is, Holy Communion). The clergy lead the course. You may have noticed that Connect? is followed by a question mark. This is our way of saying this course allows you the space to explore any and all questions. The leaders’ job is not to teach you facts but to create an environment where you can safely look at your own faith without the fear that you might say or think something wrong.
Connect? is held on Sundays in January and February from 12:15pm to 1:30pm, lunch is provided. In 2011 it runs from Sunday January 9 to Sunday February 27.

COMMIT?
"Commit? is a twelve-week opportunity for you to participate in a warm, supportive community exploring the big questions about who God is and what it might mean for you personally to live more deeply into who you are in Christ. Our journey together will be structured around the Baptismal Covenant, (Book of Common Prayer, p. 304). The clergy lead this course.

Beginning in the fall 2010 we will offer a variety of forums and other adult learning opportunities. One Sunday a month will be a “Bible Basics”, another will look at spiritual practices, another will be a topic of current interest, and lastly there will be one Sunday each month for fellowship. Also once a month the 20/30s group will meet separately.
Grace Church has a remarkable lending library that offers books on the life of faith, with books on pastoral care, spirituality, prayer, theology, and church history plus much more. You may check out a book by signing the book’s card and leaving it in the basket on the shelf to the right of the door. Books mentioned in sermons usually appear the following week. If you have a question or a suggestion speak with Mimi Allen, our Librarian, or with one of the clergy.
